In the past, apps with idle traffic and unable to fully utilize its value often profited by transferring it to third parties.
Some players also monetize their own AdSense or AdMob ads through their own products. They initially engaged in various fraudulent practices through upstream app traffic pages: using inducements, hints, and tasks to direct users to downstream Google ad monetization landing pages, generating advertising revenue.
This method used to be very stable, but with the deep integration of Google’s entire ecosystem, it can only be said that “a cold winter has arrived.”
