How to fill in the SKU when publishing an app for Apple developers, what does App Store SKU mean?

New Apple developers have problems with publishing apps. After successfully registering an Apple Developer account and completing the relevant processes such as certificates, keys, and configuration files, they can officially start uploading apps. What does the SKU in the first step of creating a new app mean, and how should it be filled in? As shown in the figure below.

The full name of SKU is Stock Keeping Unit, which literally means inventory holding unit. The SKU parameter number can be written by the developer.

The SKU required for the new app release process here is the application SKU: used to identify different versions or packages of the application.

At the same time, Apple’s SKU is divided into several different application scenarios: single application SKU, in-app purchase SKU, subscription SKU, and paid application SKU.

To put it more simply, SKU is a fixed “identification code” that is used to identify some projects and parameters in different scenarios for Apple developers.
