Since the survival rate of newly registered Facebook accounts is very low, I just remembered the Facebook account that I registered and bound through a Chinese phone number in the early years, so I retrieved the account through the phone number, and it was still intact. The process of receiving the verification code was also very smooth, as shown below.
It is even smoother than the traditional Google account verification code. You should know that Chinese phones are currently unable to receive Google verification codes to a large extent.
After getting back this old number, I immediately unbinded the phone number and changed the binding method.
